Director of Supply Chain - Contract - Life Sciences - Ohio

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Director of Supply Chain to join our major, global pharmaceutical client on their latest new-build project based in Ohio. This is a large-scale greenfield capital project investing more than $1bn.

Experience:

1. BS or advanced degree in biology, chemistry, or engineering disciplines with a minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience in biotech or pharmaceutical industries, ideally in a supply chain leadership role within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.
2. Experience with autologous cell therapy requirements (COC/COI) and/or ex-vivo gene therapy preferred.
3. Leadership experience with clinical or commercial supply chain development, establishing short and long-range operational and strategic plans, and delivering results within tight project deadlines.
4. Demonstrated ability to manage supplier relationships for clinical manufacturing, including relationship building, improvement of execution deliverables, and contract negotiation.
5. Experience in overseeing scheduling/labeling/packaging for global markets to support product launch and commercialization is required.
6. Familiarity with supply chain planning/management/optimization applications, and Lean concepts.
7. Proven understanding of global distribution requirements and industry best practices.
