Bilingual Relocation Career Coach / Job Search Strategist (part-time, contract), FRANCE

Description

We have an opening for a contract career coach based in France to support our Relocation and Outplacement solutions. We support employees who are relocating due to their company's initiatives. Our coaches assist the employees/families with integration into the new area, and the accompanying spouses/partners with job search strategies to help them find new employment/career opportunities or career continuation. The Coach works in a 1:1 capacity with the program participants by using IMPACT Group's technology and coaching methodology. This is a part-time, contract, and working from home/remote position, approximately 40-50 hours per month.

Responsibilities

1. Establishes rapport with employees and spouses/partners, and motivates them to achieve goals.
2. Guides employees and spouses/partners through the coaching process and milestone completion.
3. Advises and coaches on career development, transition issues, and career options.
4. Maintains electronic service delivery record for each employee serviced, according to the internal guide.
5. Monitors progress of participants, consults with them on specific subjects to improve their job search skills and knowledge, and deals with personal issues that are affecting their careers.

Requirements

1. At least 5-7 years experience coaching others in job search.
2. Experience with CV/resume development, interview preparation, career exploration, LinkedIn profiles, negotiations, and other aspects of job search coaching.
3. Strong skills in facilitation, business coaching, and integration coaching.
4. Experience working with job seekers on job searches in France.
5. Very strong verbal/written communication skills (bilingual English & French required).
6. Able to analyze and appropriately address transitional needs.
7. Ability to engage and foster positive relationships with recipients/clients.
8. Understanding of business and cultural practices within France and surrounding areas.
9. Currently lives and/or works in France.
10. Expat experience or current Repat (preferred).
11. High-speed internet connection on a personal computer; headset with a microphone will be required (remote work).
12. Experience working with job seekers of various professions and levels.

Ideal Candidate

1. Master’s degree in a discipline involving the study of human behavior, business or related field preferred.
2. Coaching certificate or training.
3. Familiarity with Zoom & MS Teams.
4. Has personally relocated to a different country.
5. Expat experience or current Repat (preferred).
6. Fluently speaks English AND French.
