IT Junior System administrator H / F

Provide expert IT Services for ALTEN’ own IT infrastructure and for clients’ IT infrastructures.

Support complex IT systems including Datacentre Compute, Backup, File services, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure.

Monitor and control compliance of IT Infrastructure and services.

IT Infrastructure and services fault identification and correction.

IT Infrastructure and services optimization and monitoring.

Maintenance of all IT Infrastructure resources and services.

Ensure service delivery is compliant with ALTEN CORP DSI processes and SLA’s.

Keep ALTEN Services related procedures and documentation up to date.

Work closely with Business Managers, Service Delivery Managers, Support teams and other teams in projects or support activities in an international environment.

Maintain a good relationship with Business Managers and customers.

Attend meetings and conference calls with customers, CORP, and local IT teams.

Build / maintain IT systems knowledge / skills level as well as keep up with new technologies, products, and features.

RUN : 80% – Notably Enhancement linked to ISO & regulatory compliance, vulnerability management, obsolescence management, documentation update…

PROJECT : 20% – Notably Aurora program, security projects…

Hard skills

Master Education Level or relevant professional certifications.

Experience with defining, implementing & maintaining IT services in Datacentres or Hyperscalers (Azure, AWS and GCP).

Experience with Microsoft and Linux systems, management and automation, virtualization, backup, DNS, and monitoring technologies.

Knowledge in complex IT systems that may include worldwide on-premises IT infrastructures and services, inc. datacentres, Hyperscalers, MSP and other external partners.

PowerShell and Unix shell scripting skills.

System Knowledge in core services

OS implementation : Windows & Linux.

Virtualization : VMware.

DB : SQL Server, Postgres SQL.

Active Directory and related services.

Web publishing solutions and Load balancers.

Monitoring : Solarwinds.

Configuration management : Ansible.

Backup DB skills.

Command of SQL and SQL server tools.

Understanding of data and schema standards and concepts, relational and dimensional data modeling, database design, implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance.

Soft skills

Service oriented and autonomous.

Proactive, innovative, and critical thinker.

Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Good communication skills in English (C1 Level).

Basic understanding of IT Operations processes.

Background in medium to large Enterprise organizations.

Background in international organizations.

Other

1+ years working experience IT Infrastructure in Datacentres or Hyperscalers.

Driver’s license.

Valid work permit for the job location.
