Project context

Purchase of BESS equipment and services required for energy storage projects.

Very strong ambition to develop BESS projects.

Purchasing category in the process of being structured with strategy and supplier panel to be defined, monitoring and improvement of purchasing performance, contractual template.

Working in pairs with a technical duet.

The practice of Chinese would be a plus.

Project roles and responsibilities

• Elaboration of the strategy: market analysis, strategy proposal, supplier panel, preparation of ppt presentation.
• Structure of a market intelligence (market, suppliers, price) and sharing with the BUs.
• Supplier qualification, relationship management and supplier performance review.
• Development of a contractual template with the legal department and internal stakeholders (BUs). Negotiation and signature with identified suppliers.
• Procurement management: follow-up of BESS project procurement projects from initial request to delivery (support for project contracting strategy, tender documentation, response analysis, recommendation to award, assistance in the relationship with suppliers).
• Proposal of improvement, optimization and/or transformation plans with the aim of improving overall performance (implementation of process efficiency indicators).

Goals and deliverables

• Contractual template and signature of the framework contract with the key suppliers identified in the strategy.

Minimum Requirements

• Computer science.
• Purchasing tools (e-sourcing, Ariba, etc.).
• Office applications (ppt, excel, powerBi...).
• Windows 7.
• Mastery of negotiation and contract management techniques.
• Expertise in project management and process improvement.
• Expertise in the renewable energy sector, in particular BESS.
• Drafting of Specifications.
