The division

Group Technology Operations (GTO) aims at designing, developing, and operating Global AXA IT products, delivering them to AXA Entities and the AXA Group, at the right level of quality of service and cost and aligned with business-driven priorities. Its missions can be summarized in four main activities: global product delivery, global product portfolio management, day-to-day operations management, and entities proximity management.

The department / team

You will join the Corporate Functions Global Products department. In its “IT for Business” duty, our department designs, builds and operates end user global applications in the domain of Corporate & Support Functions, organized in 24 products within 6 lines of products (Finance, Investment, Procurement, Risk Management, HR/Communication, Compliance).

Our main mission is to be the preferred partner of the Business families in Corporate Functions while ensuring excellence and consistency across our products in:

1. Implementing, operating and managing Group and/or Global Solutions
2. Delivering advisory services in answer to Business requirements and stakes
3. Leveraging a market leading right-shored delivery model
4. Continuously integrating customer centricity, efficiency, innovation & technology in our operating model

You will integrate a high performing team of ~200 experts, mainly located in France and Portugal (and supported by offshored managed services), with a strong focus on delivery, collaboration, commitment and value creation, where you will have the opportunity to learn and develop yourself in cutting-edge technologies and engage in activities that relate directly with business processes and functions, working together with the colleagues from the Group Corporate departments.

Our department is committed to offering to our customer entities cloud-based solutions that run with the expected performance and robustness, while being efficient and cost-effective.

The AXA GO product ‘Risk Projection Engine - Sunrise’ is an actuarial platform for dynamic financial analysis (DFA) based on models and using stochastic projections for predictions on Solvency 2, IFRS17, ALM and Internal Model Review and it’s widely used at AXA.

The Risk Projection Engine - Sunrise Product runs in Azure Cloud environment and it’s supported by a team of 6 Azure specialists spread between France and Portugal GO offices. The purpose of this position is to lead the Azure Platform Engineers team and drive the cloud strategy for RPE Sunrise.

Main mission

Your responsibilities include:

1. Lead the Azure Platform Engineer team using Agile practices to ensure communication, work distributions and knowledge sharing.
2. Support the definition and implementation of RPE-Sunrise Azure strategy deploying scalable, reliable, and highly available infrastructure solutions in Azure.
3. Monitor and optimize Azure performance and cost.
4. Work with the security team to ensure that Azure resources are configured securely and are compliant with applicable AXA security standards and regulations.
5. Automate infrastructure deployment and configuration processes to increase efficiency, consistency, and reliability.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure infrastructure, working with other IT teams as Network and Cloud Broker to resolve issues quickly.
7. Collaborate with Developers team, Product Owner, Product Manager and other Product stakeholders to design and implement the Product roadmap.

Your Profile

About you

Experience and Technical skills

1. Expertise in using Azure DevOps and related tools such as Visual Studio, Git, Jenkins, and Docker.
2. Knowledge of continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery/deployment (CD) concepts and methodologies.
3. Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud computing platforms.
4. Experience on Azure managed services (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Azure Storage Account, ...).
5. Experience on Azure network and security components (build and run): VNet, Network Security Group, Monitoring of resources and the best practices surrounding them.
6. Mastery of Azure resource monitoring tool (OMS).
7. Experience on best practices in terms of architecture design (AD, Storage, Managed services, etc.)
8. Experience on the Kubernetes Ecosystem (Node, Pod, Ingress, ConfigMap, FleexVolume, Services, NetworkPolicy, CertManager, ...).
9. Experience on automation of deployment of architectures and configurations (PowerShell, Python, JSON, ARM, YAML, HELM, Terraform).
10. Strong understanding of software development processes, including Agile and DevOps methodologies.
11. Solid understanding of software development lifecycles and Agile methodologies.
12. A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
