Developer (Full Stack)

Twinn is seeking a Full-Stack Developer to join their team in Chantilly, VA. This position requires an Active TS/SCI and Poly to begin.

Required Skills:

1. TS/SCI w POLY
2. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
3. 15+ years of experience in software engineering
4. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues
5. Experience with design, development, testing and operations of highly-available REST API services to support large enterprise business/mission objectives
6. Experience automating API documentation using a range of solutions for generating, visualizing and maintaining up-to-date docs as your API evolves such as Swagger
7. Experience with unit testing and test-driven development (TDD)
8. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and practices
9. Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, TypeScript and JavaScript
10. Experience working with AWS cloud services such as S3, RDS, SNS and SQS
11. Familiarity with Jira or similar issue tracking tools
12. Excellent communication and collaboration skills
13. Familiarity with database technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL and DynamoDB
14. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
15. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and participate in pair programming
16. Understanding of security best practices for software development

Desired Skills:

1. Experience with frontend development using frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue
2. Knowledge of microservices architectures and containerization
3. Familiarity with serverless computing and event-driven architectures
4. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
5. Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization technologies
6. Familiarity with DevOps practices such as continuous integration and deployment
7. Experience with DevSecOps practices and tools like Git, Jenkins and Ansible
8. Familiarity with database design and SQL
9. Experience with performance testing and optimization
