ENTER THE GAME
As the Deputy Director of Corporate Communication, your main mission is to assist the Director of Corporate Communication in defining and implementing the company's communication strategy. You will play a key role in driving this strategy while being involved in the production of concrete content to strengthen Betclic's image and reputation, both in France and internationally (in the countries where we operate).
Your role will be to promote the company's values and commitments, particularly in terms of responsible gaming and connection to the world of sports. You will also highlight our expertise as a tech company, emphasize our local presence, and manage relationships with key stakeholders.
YOUR ROLE AT BETCLIC
Corporate Communication Strategy:
- Contribute to the development of the corporate communication strategy under the direction of the Director of Corporate Communication and in collaboration with the CEO
- Ensure the implementation and monitoring of communication plans aimed at promoting Betclic's image to stakeholders (customers, employees, regulators, media, etc.)
Press Relations and Opinion Leaders:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with journalists, opinion leaders, and other media outlets
- Coordinate the writing and dissemination of press releases, press kits, articles, and opinion pieces, in line with the company's strategy
- Participate in the preparation of interviews and press events to enhance the group's visibility
Crisis Communication:
- Develop and maintain crisis communication protocols, anticipating reputation risks related to the online gaming sector
Internal Communication:
- Collaborate with the Culture Department to ensure strong alignment between internal communication, employer branding, and corporate communication, to guarantee consistency in the messages and values conveyed by the company and to strengthen its culture
International Dimension:
- Adapt communication strategies for international reach, taking into account local cultural and regulatory specifics
Monitoring and Reporting:
- Conduct strategic monitoring of trends and developments in corporate communication in the online gaming sector and internationally
- Provide regular reporting on communication actions and their impact to continuously adapt the strategy
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for passionate and curious professionals who bring kindness and a touch of enthusiasm!
This job is for you if you have:
- Degree in Communication, Public Relations, Marketing, or equivalent
- 15 years of experience in similar roles in corporate communication, ideally in a fast-growing tech company or regulated industry
- Interest in sports
- Mastery of communication strategies (corporate, crisis, internal)
- Excellent writing and oral skills in French and English
- Proven experience in managing press relations and online reputation management
- Strategic sense and global vision
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Sense of anticipation and proactivity
- Ability to work in a team in a dynamic and constantly evolving environment
WHAT ARE THE RECRUITMENT STEPS?
- If your application is selected, you will be contacted by Elodie within a week for an HR prequalification (30 minutes).
- We will then ask you to complete the AssessFirst Test (personality, motivations, and reasoning).
- You will then meet Alexandre - Public Affairs & Corporate Communication Director, then you will complete a Use Case before meeting Nicolas - CEO.
- Finally, Xavier - Chief People Officer will receive you for a final HR interview, and you will take the opportunity to debrief your AssessFirst Test together.
To offer an ideal candidate experience, the Betclic recruitment process lasts an average of 4 to 6 weeks.
