Responsibilities
During your time within General Inspection (3 or 6 years), you will contribute to 4 to 6 months Inspection missions across the business and service units (investment banking, financial markets, retail banking, insurance, corporate departments, IT, etc.) in France and abroad:
You may also contribute to Societe Generale’s strategic projects: General Inspection is involved in examining major strategic projects, at the heart of Societe Generale Group’s agenda (due diligences in France and abroad, preliminary studies for large-scale projects, etc.).
Finally, you may also work closely with a dedicated team of high-skilled data scientists and will have the opportunity to develop new skills by interacting with them on your missions and benefiting from dedicated training on data analysis.
Profile required
You have an engineering, business, or political science background, a post-graduate qualification, or an advanced master’s degree from a French or international institution. You have either just started your career, are a recent graduate, or are about to graduate.
You are ready for geographical mobility and appreciate teamwork in varied and stimulating environments. You will be in a position where your relational skills, autonomy, and the accuracy of your analysis will be grounds for success. Fluency in English or French is required; another language will be appreciated.
Working for the General Management of the bank, Societe Generale General Inspection Department carries out strategic studies and audit assignments for all the activities of the Group (Societe Generale is present in more than 60 countries). The General Inspection also intervenes on specific projects and investigations upon the request of the General Management. Under the supervision of the General Inspector and the management of Principal Inspectors (managing directors), the department counts more than 100 inspectors, 20 data scientists, a team in charge of regulatory affairs, and a support team.
