Within GO Organization, Processes and Data, Chief Data Officer for Group Operations is in charge of driving internal AXA GO Data & AI transformation.
The focus of this job position is to support Data & AI governance and data management activities across AXA GO Business Data Domains as well as delivering data contributions to transformation projects involving data and AI.
Mission:
As a Data Management Lead, under the leadership of the Chief Data Officer, your mission is to support Business Data domains to build their data & AI roadmap, deploy data governance on their business-critical data, and leverage Data and AI as business enablers to achieve business objectives. You actively contribute to transformation projects of GO Business Divisions leveraging data as an asset, supporting AI technology adoption when needed, ensuring data quality, ethics, and compliance with privacy and security rules.
Responsibilities:
- To leverage data and AI as business enablers:
- Support Data Domains in building their data and AI roadmap according to their business objectives.
- Identify the company’s business-critical data and support Data Governance implementation accordingly.
- Work with system experts to document data, maintaining an IT data dictionary with necessary technical and functional information.
- Capitalize on external sources of data.
- To ensure data quality & compliance with data privacy and security regulation:
- Ensure data is consistent and organized according to the defined business rules, and that these rules are properly integrated into the information system.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with the requirements and rules on customer data.
- Define, implement, and analyze key performance indicators to monitor master data quality.
- Provide guidance to individuals with stewardship responsibilities on Data across GO.
- Administrate access to data to ensure data is used according to privacy and security standards.
- Take part in data governance committees.
- To support and advise teams in their use of data and AI:
- Use data expertise to advise teams in the selection of the appropriate data and use of AI techniques.
- Deliver data contributions to projects in the GO transformation project portfolio leveraging Data and AI.
- Act as an ambassador for good data management and assist data users in the data privacy-related processes.
- Monitor data usage taking into account the ethical use of AI.
- To contribute to GO Divisions transformation projects:
- Ensure project deliverables regarding data are completed according to GO Data frameworks and binding principles.
- Contribute to delivering project outcomes to bring expected business impact thanks to data and AI.
- Promote adoption of data & AI and communicate on successful data stories.
Profile: At least 10 years of work experience required in Data Management with a proven track record, complemented by 5 years of contributions in AI implementation projects.
Technical & Business Skills:
- Scientific training / IT (engineering school, master) with good notions in probability / statistics.
- Mastering Data Management practices as described in the Data Management Book of Knowledge (DMBOK from DAMA), including Data Lifecycle Management across Core IT & Big Data ecosystems as well as Data Privacy & Security constraints.
- Good knowledge of one of the business data domains (Information Technology, Legal/Compliance, Procurement, Finance, HR).
- Good knowledge of Information systems and underlying technologies (databases, data lakes, data integration).
- Mastering a Data Visualization Tool (PowerBI or other) and query languages.
- Knowledge of AI Techniques.
- Knowledge of prompting and Generative AI tools.
