YOUR FUTURE TEAM

Integration is at the heart of L’Oréal IT strategy. L’Oréal is organized around regions and transversal business domains acting with various internal and external partners.

You will be part of the L’Oréal Europe integration team.

What a day in the life of the Data Integration team looks like:

  • Manage his / her teammates,
  • Proactively communicate progress and challenges to the management,
  • Manage and oversee the domain wide application portfolio, drive effective usage and deployment, cooperating with dedicated teams in the IT organization related to his / her domain,
  • Manage his / her dedicated domain roadmap and related budget,
  • Work closely with IT business leader on all project phases (Discover, Design, Configure, Develop, Debug, Deploy, Support),
  • Liaise with Domain Architect, Solution Expert and Development team for technical design and delivery,
  • Identify project risks and define action plans to mitigate,
  • Actively participate to Data Integration Analyst community,
  • Design, specify and implement integration flows and enhancements on various technologies,
  • Adhere to established development and integration processes, best practices, and standards,
  • In charge of supervising and conducting integration tests, load tests, and performance tests, including facilitating set-up of test data and accounts.
  • Write integration transition plans to move development work into various environments in accordance with business expectations,
  • Create documentation for flow support on Day to day, with Operation team, providing knowledge training and knowledge base,
  • Support hypercare period, is involved by Service Delivery Manager to provide support on operation, manage corrective and evolutive maintenance.

Secondly, in this specific position, it will be important for you to have:

Mandatory Skills

  • Leadership experience and ability to direct teams and manage their work,
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies, including those used to define the stages of a project and implement action plans (Waterfall and Agile),
  • Ability to understand the business of L’Oréal and assimilate the overall business strategy of the company, the long-term needs of users / customers and know-hows to translate them into IT strategy,
  • Ability to work with teams based across the world (specific focus on India),
  • Ability to lead continuous improvement initiatives,
  • Ability to convert business requirements to business processes and technical designs,
  • Problem solving capacities and analytical skills,
  • Proficiency with data modeling, manipulation, and distribution between applications,
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information in a condensed manner to various stakeholders verbally and in writing,
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new skills, technologies, and frameworks,
  • English Fluent (Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills).

Technical skills

  • Experience with system integration technologies (e.g. RESTful APIs, OAUTH, event brokers),
  • Experience with API & integration platforms (e.g. APIGEE, Tibco, Workato, MuleSoft, Boomi),
  • Experience in API / ESB concept, programming concepts and Data Integration design patterns.

Nice to Have Skills

  • Business knowledge in one, at least of the following domain: Retail, Data, ecommerce, Finance, Supply Chain,
  • Entrepreneurship: ability to think innovatively, evaluate and propose new ideas and solutions, while maintaining a pragmatic attitude,
  • Decoding and strength of conviction: ability to generate effective interaction, convince and reconcile in order to gain ownership and reach a positive and accepted conflict resolution,
  • Ability to promote a collaborative team environment and work closely with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve goals in different sectors, countries and cultures,
  • A sense of urgency, the ability to make good decisions, and the prioritization of tasks is necessary.

Technical skills

Experience implementing integration between SAP, S (all modules) & Other (Saas Applications as Salesforce),

Experience on Informatica (PowerCenter ETL) and IBM Sterling File Gateway.
