Support function - Business Development
Customs Business Development Manager / Director M/F
This role has a global scope, encompassing 4 regions: Americas, Asia – Middle East, Europe, and France, in connection with the regional customs product directors. Direct contact with various stakeholders internally at the LOB and region level (mainly Sales teams, regional customs product directors, and their sales teams) ensuring the alignment and roll out of the business development strategy. Regular exchanges with customers and prospects (supply chain companies having trade compliance requirements with a need for Customs Solutions). Ability to understand the market requirements.
The main objective is to develop the business on a global scale.
Participation in the animation of the 'customs product' network on the business development scope (regional customs product directors) in connection with its management: Including regular exchanges, visits, global tenders coordination, business development opportunities, and strategic requirements.
Participation in the development of the customs product (product aspects and solutions to be offered to the market) in line with its management and the regions such as:
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 - 10 years of experience in Freight Forwarding and/or Customs Brokerage.
Proven record of business development success, validated by experience listing.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Solid customs knowledge to engage with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to lead projects and engage internal stakeholders.
Proficiency in Salesforce CRM is a plus.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
Cultural awareness (international environment).
