About this opportunity

This role will be responsible for designing 3D Orthodontic Treatments using Align Technology’s proprietary CAD dental design software (OrthoCAD) from digitally scanned files of patients from our customers (Orthodontists and GP Dentists). The employee can be trained to work on one or several steps of the process, from the preparation of the virtual impression, the treatment setup, the gingiva adjustment, and the written or spoken contact with internal and external customers via different tools and devices.

The purpose of the role will be to use the acquired skills and understanding of dental criteria in order to perform treatment plans according to Doctor’s requisites or necessities and to establish a close relationship with internal and external customers.

In this role, you will:

  1. Work directly with internal and external customers.
  2. Support the orthodontist or dentist on questions about the treatment plan.
  3. Be trained and work on all the steps of the process, from the preparation of the virtual impressions, the treatment setup, and the gingiva adjustment.
  4. Use the Align proprietary SW Treat, in addition to the submitting doctor’s prescription and the Align internal treatment protocols.
  5. Be responsible for planning and coordinating the translation process to guarantee on-time delivery of the ClinCheck setup for the customers.
  6. Update and complete cases that have been assigned by the Lead or supervisor, such as complaint follow-ups, reassigned cases, and any case requiring special translation assistance, which may require email follow-up.
  7. Update and inform about incorrect or outdated customer and patient information found in any of the customer databases.
  8. Propose ideas for procedures and processes to promote improved service, customer satisfaction, and overall department improvements.
  9. Follow production requirements from their supervisors in a timely manner.
  10. Work on process improvements regarding quality, time and cost reduction, and customer experience.

In this role, you’ll need:

  1. A degree within the dental environment (e.g. Dental Technician, Dental Hygienist) or equivalent.
  2. 3-5 years of related experience in the dental field, preferably working with CAD-CAM services products such as dental prostheses, including crowns, crown lays, veneers, inlays and onlays, fixed bridges, dental implants, dentures (removable or fixed), and orthodontic appliances.
  3. A strong desire and capability to understand and work with 3D applications, e.g., be able to model characters and move 3D creations in a computer networking environment.
  4. The ability to read and analyze orthodontic records, treatment prescriptions, and all internal communications.
  5. A strong ability to understand orthodontic clinical concepts and have computer literacy.
  6. French language skills at a C1-level or higher (CEFR) and strong English skills.
