Corporate Communications Manager , International Stores and Corporate Communications

Amazon is seeking a PR professional to join the communications team in France as a Corporate Communications Manager. The role requires a proactive communications professional with good judgment and creative problem-solving abilities. You will create proactive PR campaigns, manage media relations and support social media campaigns, while maintaining attention to detail. This position requires proficiency in both English and French, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic organization.

Strong writing skills are essential for this role. You will help create clear and concise content on various topics, contributing to well-written narratives that express Amazon's viewpoint on different matters. You will support the development and execution of communications initiatives and help build relationships with stakeholders. This role involves working with cross-functional teams across different countries, cultures, and business units. You will help communicate enthusiasm for our business and brand, with particular attention to workplace-related matters.

Key job responsibilities

1. Create and execute proactive communication campaigns to maintain a pipeline of positive and engaging stories about Amazon's work in France across multiple channels.
2. Assist in developing and reviewing content to support Amazon's corporate reputation, collaborating with the Business, other PR teams, Public Policy, Social, and Marketing.
3. Ensure content is distributed in the appropriate format and on the right channels (owned, earned, shared, paid) to maximize impact with audiences.
4. Identify potential storytelling opportunities and contribute ideas for editorial projects.
5. Provide support in communications efforts for business executives, helping address short and long-term challenges and opportunities.
6. Assist in managing communications challenges and media inquiries related to the retail business, escalating complex issues when necessary.
7. Support the implementation of outreach programs to corporate stakeholders, including third-party groups.

Basic Qualifications

1. Proficiency in written and spoken English and French.
2. Experience in working effectively with media in France.
3. Experience in writing and editing corporate communications materials.
4. Understanding of communications measurement and analytics tools.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Knowledge of the French retail and e-commerce landscape.
2. Bachelor's degree in Communications or Public Relations.
3. Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
