The company, headquartered in Italy, acquired RAVIFRUIT in 2023, a premium fruit puree brand located in Anneyron, France.

Purpose of Position: We are looking for a passionate and team-oriented Pastry Chef to support the development of our RAVIFRUIT brand in France and abroad.

The Corporate chef will act as a brand champion and fruit puree expert within the IRCA group and ensure his expertise is delivered to our customers.

The Corporate chef will be responsible for delivering customer-orientated activities as well as supporting the Marketing team in the marketing plan elaboration and execution.

The position has a global focus and all activities need to be steered in close collaboration with the relevant departments, in particular Marketing, Sales, the Application team, and R&D.

The incumbent will evolve in a dynamic, cross-functional and fast-paced environment, within an international group and multicultural teams.

In the mid-term, the RAVIFRUIT Corporate chef will also be responsible for another brand of the group, CESARIN, an Italian premium fruit preparation and candied fruit company with strong artisanal know-how.


Customer and Sales orientated activities:
  • Participate in the development of recipes and technical tools.
  • Participate in the preparation and ensure the smooth running of events such as demonstrations, photo shoots, and technical product training for Sales and Distributors, in France and abroad.
  • Lead masterclasses and thematic trainings in pastry, confectionery and ice cream categories for our end customers (artisan pastry chefs, ice cream makers), in France and abroad.
  • Ability to organize a production (pastry, ice cream) and/or research work and synthesize the results.
Marketing orientated activities:
  • Create recipes for seasonal recipe collections, in line with market trends and marketing needs.
  • Support the marketing and R&D teams in delivering the Innovation pipeline, from idea generation to product testing in application and market launch.
  • Deliver clear market intelligence and customer insights to support brand development and marketing plans.
  • Provide recommendations for specific marketing-led projects, including new brand ambassador recruitment and chef community growth.
Requirements:
  • Education: BTM (or equivalent) in Pastry or Ice cream
  • Professional Skills: Very good knowledge of Pastry (boutique and restaurant) and Ice Cream categories (building analytical tables, making sorbet and frozen entremets)
  • Experiences: Minimum 3 years experience as a Chef.
  • Language Skills: Fluent French and English as a must (spoken and written)
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in the use of MS Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Behavioral requirements: Communicates effectively and has very good communication skills. Team player and solution-oriented. Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously. Prone to autonomous management and organization of work. Hands-on attitude and ability to work in a dynamic environment. Creative and innovative mindset. Attitude for continuous learning/curiosity.
  • Other: The position is based in Anneyron (Drôme), France, at the RAVIFRUIT production site, or alternatively in Paris, at La Léfense at IRCA France Studio. Frequent travels involved in France and abroad.
