Position Summary:

As a National Account Manager, you will have a recognized history in the Mobile Accessories Industry alongside a proven track record of positioning multiple brands in a highly competitive landscape. You will be responsible for meeting and exceeding profit and revenue goals across key Retail, Telecom and Distribution channels, working closely with internal teams such as Marketing, Planning and Operations to initiate, execute and fulfill the necessary product portfolios to achieve those goals. As a known Industry individual, you will be able to utilize your extensive contacts to help manage existing and drive new business relationships. The primary function of this role is to manage and accelerate the growth of sales across your Accounts whilst seeking out new opportunities. You should also collaborate with the Regional Sales Director and other senior team members to help influence and set revenue, product, and company strategies. For you to be successful in this role, you will need to balance competencies associated with a sales-driven environment whilst also having good people management and interactive skills. You must be a high-performing sales driver, well organized, and adaptable.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. 35% Sales Management: Directs new product launches, initiatives, and promotions execution within accounts. Presents regular business reviews and new product launches. Oversees promotions, MDF, accounts, customer and channel level financials. Works with internal teams on behalf of clients to ensure the highest level of customer service. Builds relationships and meets directly with existing customers and identifies new opportunities to acquire new business. Interfaces with product and operations internally to resolve issues that directly impact partners. Reaches quantitative and qualitative targets.
  2. 25% Department / Team Management: Understands and implements against the playbook to achieve unit budget plan, profitability, and portfolio targets. Drives Account and Opportunity plans. Manages and implements the sales forecasting, planning, and buyer-driven sales and marketing processes, establishing high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency within those accounts. Ensures quarterly revenue and profit targets for the business are achieved. Owns budgets and manages P&L’s by Account.
  3. 20% Strategy: Executes sales strategy for all brands and across all channels. Influences roadmap requirements in conjunction with the executive team. Owns the revenue targets for target Accounts and new business. Accountability and ensures we meet targets. Presents strategy and status updates on Accounts and Channels as necessary. Ability to pinpoint areas of opportunity at multiple levels.

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of relevant sales experience in Mobile Accessories essential.
  • Native French and English.
  • Established relationships with industry contacts in key customers, both existing and potential.
  • Experience of selling from a Mobile Accessories brand into Retail and Telecom channels is preferred.
  • Ability to create strong relationships with key client stakeholders at both senior and mid-management levels.
  • Ability to understand the competitive landscape and market trends.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth with large customer accounts.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
  • Effective at multitasking and ability to work on multiple projects.
  • Detail-oriented with understanding of consistency towards brand guidelines.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Effective in a fast-paced environment and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Provable knowledge of consultative selling vs. fact-based selling would be advantageous.
  • Experience managing major retailers and distributors.
