Reporting to the Director of Projects & Industrialization, the Commissioning Manager will manage commissioning activities and support in new technologies replication and deployment. Travel is expected to be about 30% of the time on average with peaks during actual start-ups.
Main responsibilities:
- Management of resources specialized in commissioning.
- Animate the team life and activities.
- Follow-up on tasks and organization of the team.
- Define priorities among topics to be treated according to Insulation business strategy.
- Assistance when difficult situations are encountered.
Commissioning topics:
- Define commissioning KPIs and means of validation.
- Define commissioning steps, detailed plan/trials and associated resources.
- Define commissioning planning and manage resources accordingly.
- Management of commissioning team.
- Follow-up & reporting of commissioning progress and KPIs.
- Support and follow plants on start-up preparation.

Academic: Generalist engineer.
Experience / technical competencies:
5-10 years' experience, ideally in the production industry, with a strong understanding of commissioning methodology. A background in electrical, automation, or mechanical engineering is preferred.
Core competencies:
- Project management.
- Commissioning methodology.
- Working knowledge of heavy industry safety management system and standards.
Advanced knowledge in:
- Process Flow Diagrams & P&ID.
- Scheduling.
- Glasswool and Stonewool knowledge a plus.
Additional skills:
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for teamwork in an international and multicultural context.
- Leadership and team management (multicompetence teams).
- Capability to work in a matrix organization as a team leader or as a member of a team.
