CMM Operator/Inspector

Currently seeking CMM Operator/Inspector to support a full-time project for at least 30 days in Pau, France.

The resource shall have hands-on experience operating CMMs. All activity will be performed onsite in Pau. Support will likely be on evening shifts.

Job Description:

• Customer is seeking skilled individuals to support CMM Inspection & Operating efforts at their suppliers facility in Pau.
• Daily inspection of complex machined parts, cylinders, housings, etc. Resource will be checking for conformity to customer specifications, issuing and documenting NCRs associated with material is required.
• No portable CMM equipment.
• Further orientation will be performed onsite.

• Immediate start
• 1+ Month

Frequency:

• 40 hours per week

Skill Requirements:

• Candidates should have documented experience on his / her resume operating CMMs.
• Experience with Zeiss Machines & Zeiss Calypso software is preferable.
• At least 3 years’ experience using CMM software.
• Hands-on experience with GD&T per ANSI Y 14.5.
• Must be able to interpret Blue Prints and drawings.
• Use of inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, etc. is required.
• Familiarity with Quality and Manufacturing processes.
• Prefer inspection background in receiving, in-process inspection knowledge of FAI reports.
