Cloud Identity Architect

The job will take place in the Saint-Gobain Group Digital & IT (GDI) team whose main objective is to deliver IT support and services to all Saint-Gobain employees and business (Mailing, Mobility, End User Devices, Identity, Hosting, ...).

With the digital transformation, more applications are now hosted in the cloud (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, ..).

Within the workplace department of Saint-Gobain GDI, the Digital Identity Team is responsible for building a coherent and functional process to manage identity.

You will be part of the Digital Identity Team as a Cloud Identity Architect, working with several other architects.

In a worldwide company, you will work in a very international, multi-cultural, and multi-business context. You will be at the heart of the new Saint-Gobain IT roadmap and therefore collaborate intensively with several other teams: Public Cloud, Cybersecurity, Local IT, Business ...

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive the digital cloud identity architecture at Saint-Gobain across all applications on all cloud platforms.
• Drive the adoption of creative solutions to address complex, global IAM problems.
• Take responsibility for a modern identity architecture and further drive our transition from on-premise solutions to hybrid cloud solutions.
• Ensure a secure platform for all IT infrastructure and application demands.
• Deliver a coherent, reliable, reusable architecture while addressing project requirements.
• Review existing designs and implementations and suggest enhancements.
• Represent the Identity team on organizational project teams and ensure adherence to existing security policies and standards.

The individual in this role must be well-educated in general aspects of Information Security, namely:

• In-depth experience with Microsoft Azure, particularly Azure AD and architecture designs connecting Azure to enterprise infrastructure.
• Experience architecting Identity solutions within Microsoft Azure and, preferably, other cloud providers (GCP & AWS).
• Understanding of cloud computing architecture, technical design, and implementations, including Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS) delivery models.
• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills with the ability to think 'out of the box'.
• Must be able to work independently or with a team, under minimum supervision.
• Some knowledge of scripting languages (PowerShell, Terraform, etc.).
• Assists businesses with planning and implementing complex architecture solutions.
• Basic understanding of DevOps solutions.

Experience:

• At least 7 years of working experience with IT identity and/or cloud technologies.
