Position Overview:

The Clinical Sales Specialist is responsible for providing clinical and product expertise to our sales team, distribution partners, and key stakeholders during the sales process.

This position reports to the Clinical Sales Manager and is part of the Medical Sales Division EMEA located in Paris/Ile de France. The role will primarily cover France, with support in neighboring countries and occasionally in the rest of EMEA as part of the EMEA Clinical Specialist Team.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Demonstrate the clinical benefits of the Leica surgical portfolio.
  • Contribute to the development of training materials & content (slide deck, videos).
  • Plan and host product trainings and workshops.
  • Support our sales team in technical requirements related to product applications.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • 3 years’ minimum experience in a technical support role for a healthcare company, providing application support on a high range of complex products and services related to the operating theater.
  • Master/bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Biomechanical Engineering, Bioengineering, Clinical Engineering, or (scrub)nurse.
  • Strong understanding of clinical workflow, IT workflow including DICOM and HL7, anatomy, and medical terminology.
  • Fluency in French and English is a must; an additional language from the EMEA region is a plus.
  • Strong customer focus and demonstrated capacity to detect customer needs and find appropriate solutions.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  • Ability to travel 60% + of the time in the region of responsibility.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Microsurgery and Neurosurgery experience.
