Clinical Governance Co-ordinator Band 4

The Family and Specialist Services Division Quality and Patient Safety Team are seeking a self-directed and motivated person who has a questioning and enquiring mind and good attention to detail.

If this describes you, we want to hear from you. The role is interesting and varied and would mean you were part of driving improvements in patient safety, patient experience and clinical effectiveness.

Responsibilities of this role include:

• Working alongside and supporting the Perinatal Quality and Patient Safety Team with the day-to-day management of patient safety incidents.
• Being responsible for the organising and co-ordination of receiving and storing maternity records for audit and incident investigation purposes and maintaining the tracking database related to this process. This includes the management and tracking of all subject access requests.
• Organise and distribute papers in time for key meetings e.g. Governance, Risk, CQC, Monitoring and Audit, Clinical Effectiveness Forum etc.

A broad experience of IT and good communication and organisational skills are essential for this role.
