Job Description

We are seeking an experienced global marketing leader for the position of Chief Marketing Officer to lead Dailymotion’s B2C marketing team as part of Dailymotion’s global growth strategy.

As the Chief Marketing Officer, your objective will be to design and execute the marketing activities to contribute to Dailymotion’s market awareness and ultimately the growth of Dailymotion through Dailymotion activities regarding B2C users.

You will be working among the operating team with key strategic peers, especially the Chief Product Officer and the Chief Technology Officer.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, you will be responsible for the following:

  1. Define the marketing strategies to support the company’s overall strategic and growth objectives on the B2C ecosystem of Dailymotion.
  2. Implement accordingly a feasible and in budget marketing plan for the department and oversee its day-to-day implementation.
  3. Work closely with the HR team to develop the Employer Brand.
  4. Define a research strategy and execute to capture the trends of the market that has a direct impact on Dailymotion’s market penetration and lead generation.
  5. Liaise with other departments to guide a unified approach to communication, distribution, etc. that meets market demands.
  6. Plan and organize marketing functions and operations, and ensure they project the company’s unique ‘voice’ and ‘values’.
  7. Design and coordinate promotional campaigns, PR and other marketing efforts across channels (digital, social, press, etc.).
  8. Design and coordinate internal and external communication processes including assets definition and brand consistency.
  9. Develop the global team of 7 marketing professionals.

The ideal candidate will collaborate in a fast-paced and agile environment, evolving it as we grow to ensure that Dailymotion stays relevant and compelling to our target audiences.

Qualifications

10+ years’ experience in marketing and/or advertising, in an international environment and on wide audience products.

Strong leadership and project development skills.

Experienced bringing brand positioning to life in traditional and non-traditional media.

You have strong brand and creative instincts and used to partner with creative design teams.

You are a seasoned leader, while also being a team player. You have solid experience in leading and developing a team to deliver upon high quality standards, though we expect you to roll up your sleeves and be involved in the process as well.

Business and results oriented.

You have an entrepreneurial spirit and you are an exceptional problem solver.

A good balance between a very autonomous person and a very flexible and adaptable mindset to interact constructively with the different teams and managers.
