Our client is a small but fine gourmet restaurant in the heart of Provence. With a passion for premium products and a strong network of local suppliers, the restaurant offers its guests an unforgettable culinary experience. To further enhance this experience, we are looking for a talented Chef de Cuisine (gn). The restaurant has 25 pax and is open from Tue-Sat, offering its first-class menu in the evening. In parallel, the chef is responsible for the Rooftop Bar in the summer, where fresh dishes are served for up to 30 pax. The restaurant offers wine lovers a selection of 900 positions with a focus on France.
Responsibilities
Responsibility for all kitchen operations including menu planning, inventory control, and purchasing.
Ensuring the highest quality standards for all food – including the Rooftop.
Leadership and training of the kitchen team.
Compliance with all hygiene regulations and safety standards in the kitchen.
Collaborate with the service team to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
Completed training as a cook or comparable qualification.
At least 5 years of professional experience in a similar position, ideally in the best catering industry.
Fluency in French or willingness to learn the language quickly.
Excellent leadership skills and team spirit.
Creativity and passion for food and wine.
