Our customer, a leader in natural ingredients for the Flavors, perfumery and beauty industries, is looking for a Master Data Manager M / F, as part of an ambitious business transformation project, including the implementation of PLM (Product Lifecycle Management).
They are creating a new organization that will be at the heart of master data management. The Master Data Manager will play a key role in this transformation, with the aim of building a Master Data Management (MDM) team with a global reach within the group.
Job Summary
The Master Data Manager will be responsible for the governance, quality and consistency of master data within the group. He or she will actively participate in the PLM implementation project, while contributing to the definition of master data management processes and policies. Eventually, the Master Data Manager will be responsible for building and managing the MDM team.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Data governance management:
- Define and implement master data management processes (products, suppliers, customers, etc.) as part of the transformation project.
- Establish and maintain governance rules to ensure the quality, consistency and security of data across the group's information systems.
- Participation in the PLM project:
- Work closely with PLM project teams to ensure efficient integration of data into new PLM solutions.
- Contribute to the definition of data flows between different systems (ERP, PLM, etc.) to ensure a harmonious use of data across the group.
- Building and managing the MDM team:
- Gradually recruit and train a team dedicated to master data management.
- Supervise and support the team in the implementation of data management processes, tools and best practices.
- Ensure the quality and reliability of data by implementing regular control and audit processes.
- Propose improvements to MDM processes to support the group's growth and evolution.
- Collaboration transverse:
- Work in close collaboration with IT teams, project managers, as well as business departments (R&D, production, purchasing, etc.).
- Ensure good communication and coordination of teams around master data initiatives.
Minimum Requirements
- Must hold a master’s degree from a reputed University.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Management for an international group, ideally in a business transformation context.
- Technical skills: Mastery of information systems and databases.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English (written and oral) is imperative, as the position has an international dimension.
- Analytical and organizational skills: Ability to manage projects to drive successful process improvement initiatives. Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and drive cross-functional initiatives. Analytical mind and rigor in data quality management.
- Leadership: Ability to build, federate and supervise a team, while being a force of proposal in a constantly changing environment.
