Job Description
We are seeking a Manager, Group Medical Affairs - Dairy Cows to join our Medical Affairs and Customer Experience team in Paris, France. In this pivotal role, you will lead our medical affairs initiatives focused on dairy cow health, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive scientific excellence and support our animal health initiatives to create value for animals, their owners and healthcare professionals.
- Develop and implement medical affairs strategies for dairy cow health offer
- Support a network of international medical affairs professionals, providing guidance and mentorship
- Provide expert medical and scientific advice to internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and R&D teams to ensure scientific accuracy in offer creation and communications, from customer needs to value demonstration
- Contribute to the development of strategic plans for new product launches and lifecycle management of existing offer in the dairy cow health portfolio
- Develop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, academic institutions and research organisations to gather insights and foster collaborative research opportunities
- Lead and coordinate post-marketing clinical trials related to dairy cow health, ensuring adherence to ethical standards and scientific rigor
- Analyze and interpret scientific data to support product development and marketing efforts (demonstrate Value)
- Create and review medical content for educational materials, publications, and presentations
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards in all medical affairs activities
- Stay current with the latest developments in dairy cow health and veterinary medicine
- Ensure the management and planning of its activity, compliance with budgets, drafting and/or application of procedures
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or Ph.D. in Animal Science or related field
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in veterinary medicine or animal health industry
- Strong background in dairy cow health and management
- Customer-centric mindset
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in project management and data analysis
- Advanced scientific writing abilities
- In-depth knowledge of animal health regulations and compliance requirements
- Experience in engaging with key opinion leaders and veterinary professionals
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex scientific information for various audiences to make it useful and used
- Fluency in English; knowledge of French is a plus
- Willingness to travel as required for conferences and client or affiliate meetings
