IPVF IN BRIEF

The IPVF – Photovoltaic Institute of Île-de-France, is a global center for Research, Innovation and Teaching, whose mission is to accelerate energy transition through science and technology.
Bringing together industrial leaders in PV (EDF, TotalEnergies, Air Liquide, Horiba and Riber) and world-renowned academic research organizations (CNRS, Ecole Polytechnique), the multidisciplinary and international teams of the IPVF carry out research on PV technologies for clean energy. Supported by the French State, the IPVF is labeled the Energy Transition Institute (ITE).

The IPVF in brief:
• An ambitious scientific and technological program (6 programs divided into 24 work modules): from tandem solar cell technologies to economic and market assessment, state-of-the-art characterization, photocatalysis and concepts of rupture.
• Cutting-edge technological platform (8 m²): more than 000 pieces of cutting-edge equipment worth €100 million, installed in clean rooms (advanced characterization, material storage, prototypes for manufacturing, modeling, etc.).
• High-level education program (MS and PhD students).
