Business Systems Lead Consultant - Independent Contractor

An international company is looking for a Business Systems Architect or Enterprise Systems Lead with strong ERP and Financial Systems experience to join their project team.

The company is transforming the existing Business Systems and ERP landscape, and is looking for someone to help them review the existing ERP and Financial Systems and map the future roadmap for Cloud ERP and Finance Systems.

Sitting as part of a project team, this role will lead and drive the review of existing Systems and processes and will focus on identifying best-in-class Cloud solutions for the business. The contractor will deliver a business case as part of the review, evaluation and selection of new Cloud Business Applications (ERP, EPM, Financial Systems), working closely with business process owners.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Analyse and review current Business Systems and ERP landscape with reference to core business processes across Finance, Operations, P2P, O2C, Sales
2. Identify best-in-class business applications for future operating models and support the business case for selection of next generation business systems
3. Collaborating closely with Business Process Owners and Finance Systems Managers, review and analyse existing business systems landscape
4. Define future business systems operating model
5. Work as Project Lead while also getting hands-on into the detail of Business Systems as required

Ideal Candidate Profile:

1. 10+ years' experience in Business Systems, Financial Systems or ERP
2. Proven experience delivering ERP and Business Systems implementation projects in large international companies for Cloud Systems
3. Prior experience with ERP / Business Systems review and selection
4. Strong knowledge of best-in-class Cloud ERP systems, e.g. Oracle Cloud ERP, Workday, SAP S4 Hana, MS Dynamics 365 FO, Netsuite, Unit4 ERPX, Infor Cloudsuite or similar
