Business Operations Manager / Expert des Opérations Financières (all genders)

Just-Evotec Biologics Toulouse is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Operations Manager, with a desire to help build a growing company & improve worldwide access to biotherapeutics. As part of the Business Operations group within the Finance team, this position will help manage the intersection between biotech resource & capacity planning, project management, finance, and business development. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a combination of skills including a scientific background (preferably CMC), business & program management. In addition, he/she/they will report to and work closely with the Seattle-based Just-Evotec team in the United States to manage and analyze financials and resources for a portfolio of projects.

Key Responsibilities

1. Maintain program information in internal systems used for resource and capacity planning.
2. Implement integrated business operation processes across US and Toulouse sites.
3. Assist with FP&A including month end reporting; program actuals vs forecast reports.
4. Provide pricing estimates for Business Development SOWs & change orders.
5. Build and improve resource models, forecasts, and decision-making tools.
6. Invoicing of commercial & intercompany clients.
7. Support the finance team with maintaining the growth revenue outlook in France.
8. Document procedures for assigned areas of responsibility.
9. Perform Ad-hoc program & financial analysis.
10. Become proficient with the company ERP and Timecard systems.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

1. MS degree in life-sciences, engineering, business, or related field.
2. MBA preferred or in-progress/planned would be an asset.
3. Min 4 years of management experience within Biotech.
4. Relevant biotech project experience with some level of budgeting/forecasting.

1. Team player that thrives in a fast-paced matrixed environment.
2. Proficiency with software tools i.e Smartsheet, LIMS, Excel (pivot tables).
3. Strong biotechnology & business background.
4. Exceptional analytical & communication skills.
5. Organized, detail oriented, and ability to work with confidential information.
6. Fluent English required, French would be a plus.
