The Role

As a Key Account Manager, you will bridge the gap between Atlas Copco’s innovative products and the unique needs of our key customers. Your technical knowledge, combined with a customer-focused approach, will ensure our solutions exceed customer expectations. You will be the primary point of contact for major accounts, from pre-sales through product deployment and beyond, ensuring the highest levels of satisfaction and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, offering tailored solutions to address their needs and challenges in industrial manufacturing.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and customer demands. Reporting & Coordination: Provide regular updates on sales performance and market conditions, closely collaborate with other internal teams.
  • New Product Launches: Launch the new products at your customer.
  • Proposal Preparation & Pricing: Together with the support team, draw a technical proposals and accurate quotations in collaboration with HQ to meet customer needs.
  • Sales Growth & Strategy: Drive revenue growth by identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities within key accounts and thrive to exceed the sales targets.
  • Product Promotion & Lifecycle Management: Promote products throughout their lifecycle, keeping customers informed about new features and updates.
  • Technical Expertise & Solution Sales: Use your technical knowledge to present solutions, provide product demonstrations, and advice to customers.

What we expect of you?

  • Education: Technical education or proven experience in technical field ideally within industrial manufacturing, machinery, IT and automation.
  • Languages: Fluent in Hungarian and English language, Romanian language advantage.
  • Experience: At least 4 years of active sales experience in the field, preferably in technical or industrial products, with a proven ability to work independently and driving the activities.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of technical solutions and the ability to translate complex information into customer-friendly terms.
  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, both technical and non-technical, with a focus on building strong customer relationships.
  • Team-Oriented: A collaborative approach with the ability to work across departments and contribute to team success.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and manage a team to achieve business goals.
  • Travel-Ready: Willingness to travel within the assigned area to customers and to travel abroad for training and occasional international meetings.
