Business Development Manager – France (Home Furnishings Sector)

To support our expansion in the French market, we are seeking a Business Development Manager to strengthen our presence, develop key partnerships, and accelerate growth in one of the most dynamic and strategic markets in Europe.

Role Overview

As Business Development Manager France, you will be responsible for driving the development of our Febal Casa brand in the retail and contract segments. Your mission will be to expand our distribution network, forge strategic alliances, and ensure that Febal Casa continues to stand out as a premium brand in the French market.

We are looking for a goal-oriented professional with deep market knowledge, strong negotiation skills, and a proactive, results-driven mindset.

Key Responsibilities

Market Expansion and Strategic Growth

  1. Develop and execute tailored business development strategies to strengthen our presence in France.
  2. Conduct market research to identify opportunities, competitive trends, and emerging consumer preferences.
  3. Define and implement initiatives to increase brand visibility, enhancing recognition and market penetration.

Dealer Network Development and Key Partnerships

  1. Identify, engage, and secure high-profile dealers and commercial partners to expand our distribution network.
  2. Cultivate strong relationships with existing partners, ensuring they maximize their potential in representing our brand.
  3. Develop customized business plans for dealers, aligning growth objectives with brand positioning and market potential.
  4. Strengthen our presence in the contract segment, identifying key business opportunities in residential, hospitality, and commercial projects.

Sales Performance and Reporting

  1. Monitor sales performance and market trends, adjusting strategies to optimize revenue growth.
  2. Provide senior management with comprehensive reports, offering insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making.

Brand Representation and Industry Networking

  1. Represent Colombini Group at industry events, trade shows, and high-profile networking opportunities, positioning our brand as a market leader.
  2. Leverage an extensive professional network within the French home furnishings sector to foster new business opportunities.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a dynamic and ambitious business development expert with a strong background in the French home furnishings sector.

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
  2. Experience: At least 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or key account management within the home furnishings industry.
  3. Market Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the French home furnishings market, including retail distribution, contract business, and industry trends.
  4. Languages: Fluency in French and English is essential. Italian or Spanish is a plus.
  5. Skills: Strong negotiation, relationship management, and communication skills, with a proactive, results-driven approach.
  6. Existing Network: An established network of dealers, architects, designers, and industry professionals is highly desirable.
  7. Flexibility: Willingness to travel extensively across France to develop business opportunities.
