As a future Business Analyst, you will report to our Head of Technology for Select and you will be part of the PE, UL, Risk & Regulatory Technology team.

You deliver functional and technical support to the AXA IM Select Belgium users (the role is based in France, with monthly trips to Brussels), for key software applications and tools. You also accompany projects (transversal or dedicated to the business team) and manage the delivery of software change, including the management of external software suppliers.

Your role and responsibilities will notably include:

1. Lead and perform the support of key business systems used by AXA IM Select Belgium, this includes daily operational support and troubleshooting.
2. Liaison with external software suppliers in the support of key business systems.
3. Participate in the analysis, implementation and testing of all technology changes, taking an active role in maintaining and enhancing existing systems, as well as the setup of new applications.
4. Manage external software suppliers, running weekly and monthly governance meetings to ensure BAU and project follow-up and governance together with the wider AXA IM Select Technology teams.
5. Locally within technology for AXA IM Select Belgium, lead incident management, request management and change management processes.
6. Participate in wider initiatives such as information security, operational resilience and risk topics.
7. Role is based on site in Paris, with monthly trips to Brussels.

Qualifications

Qualification and experience

1. 3-5 years experience in a similar role.
2. Honours degree or relevant experience.
3. Experienced with supporting business users.
4. A first experience in the investment management sector is preferable.

Your knowledge and skills

1. French & English are mandatory, Dutch would be a plus.
2. Excellent IT knowledge, including deployment of financial application in IT Datacenter infrastructure or Cloud infrastructure.
3. Familiar with IT infrastructure concepts such as servers, storage, network, databases, identity and access management, authentication, backups, disaster recovery, scheduling, file transfers.
4. Technical skills such as SQL, Scripting, Python and VBA.
5. Change management lifecycle experience.
6. Strong autonomy in role required.
7. Good analysis skills.
8. Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
9. Capacity to perform several tasks in parallel.
