The Yacht Sales activity at Travelopia includes the sale of new Charter Yachts in the Moorings and Sunsail Ownership Programs. At Leopard Catamarans, we design innovative, performance-driven cruising catamarans. We have an abiding passion for Yachts & providing our customers with amazing experiences on the water. We are looking to hire a Boat Show & Event Coordinator to join our team! Reporting to the Yacht Sales Marketing Manager for Europe and Asia, you’ll be responsible for planning and executing boat shows and events in these regions, including on-location oversight, coordination of logistics, warehouse inventory, hotel bookings, and boat decoration.

We are looking for people who are located in either Nice or Saint Raphael and can work a flexible hybrid work pattern. This role is perfect for someone who has a real interest in sailing and progressing within the yachting industry.

This is a 6 month contract with the potential to be extended.

What you’ll do:

  • Event planning - organising world-class boat shows and unforgettable events for the yacht sales industry
  • Be responsible for the on-site coordination, ensuring every detail runs efficiently from start to finish
  • Booking accommodation for the staff and sourcing and preparing their uniforms
  • Logistics management and warehouse inventory - keeping everything on track, from transportation to setup ensuring smooth operations
  • Boat decoration for the event, crafting spectacular visual experiences for the best impact
  • Designing print materials for the events such as brochures and flyers
  • Support the wider marketing team with email campaigns and web updates
What you’ll bring:

  • Proficiency in French and English (Spanish or Italian as a third language is a plus!)
  • Sailing experience and/or knowledge of the yachting industry is a must!
  • Prior experience in event management across multiple locations is a plus
  • Attention to detail and excellent organisation skills
  • Happy to be hands-on and in the action!
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools, including Microsoft tools, Adobe Suite and email campaigns (we can also provide training)
  • Flexible to travel throughout the year to attend events and boat shows
