We are seeking a Beverage Application Technologist to join our R&D Team in Grasse, where we create beverage and dairy flavors. This role involves leading and executing innovation and customer projects to develop consumer-preferred taste solutions. A passion for flavors and the beverage industry, along with a commitment to excellence, are key to succeeding in this role.

You will oversee the beverage category, ensuring alignment with strategic and operational activities as outlined below:

• Perform daily brief-related tasks, manage flavour selection, evaluation, and application development.
• Lead customer visits and oversee product development and presentations.
• Provide technical support and advice to the Technical Account Manager.
• Serve as the main technical contact for customers, ensuring consistency and high-quality service.
• Coordinate responses to customer requirements for technical documentation, projects, and trials.
• Manage projects by collaborating with internal departments to achieve CRM objectives.
• Maintain awareness of health and safety issues and adapt to meet business needs.

• Master’s degree in food science and technology.
• Experience with a beverage manufacturer/bottler.
• Proven project management skills to deliver results and meet timelines.
• Extensive knowledge of the food and beverage industry, ideally across various regional markets.
• Strong background in organic chemistry, food chemistry, and flavor applications/sensory.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Management experience in a global/regional leadership team within a matrixed organization.
