As Senior Collection Merchandiser you will oversee the construction of the leather goods collection from strategy, monitoring and influencing development, assortment planning, margin, and pricing.
You will contribute to the growth of your category by managing the collections supported by qualitative and quantitative information on sales while being the relay between the various departments throughout the collection process and the life cycle of the product.
How you will contribute
- Drive the 360 Leather Goods Collection Merchandising strategy
- Present short- and long-term actions to develop the category
- Define collection briefs; brief the creative team and drive the developments
- Communicate Leather Goods strategic ambitions and collection guidelines with creative teams and monitor overall execution of the collection brief
- Build the collection structure and ensure optimal balance
- Responsible for the collection plan, update and follow up with Coordination and Design
- Ensure good communication between the studio, development, and production
- Manage the update of collection monitoring tools
- Ensure cross-category consistency
- Provide target prices to both creative and development teams and provide solutions to reach goals
- Share and follow up target price to both creative and development teams in line with pricing strategy
- Review the leather goods collection in all currencies with strategic price positioning at regional level
- Manage editing tracking tools
- Build selling documents and follow up of the collection plan
- Present the product briefs during the showroom and participate in feedback sessions
- Provide necessary data and support to Retail and Wholesale teams throughout the sales campaign
- Support in building product training and in presenting in showrooms to internal teams
- Take ownership of Leather Goods cancellations post showroom and liaise with Retail, Wholesale, and Production / Coordination Teams
- Define delivery groups based on pre-purchases and priorities
- Perform Women / Men’s leather goods Sell in analysis at the end of each selling campaign
- Know your competitors and market landscape
- Partner with Retail weekly to help identify collection opportunities to maximise profits
- Deliver collection efficiency and structure analysis to help the Merchandising Manager defining product cycle life and ad-hoc analysis as needed
- Be proactive in setting up and upgrading tools and analyses
- Provide input to all internal departments on 360 alignments to maximise impact and sales of Leather Goods collections.
- Work closely with Retail Merchandising to suggest in-season actions to maximise profits, support on regional requests and nuances and ensure a balanced offer globally

- A professional with extensive experience within Collection Merchandising.
- A Leather Goods expert with sound knowledge of the current market and consumer trends, excellent product sensitivity, analytical and numeracy skills.
- A highly organized individual with ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines, manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
