This new activity enables us to offer a comprehensive range of services, thus reinforcing our strategic position with our global customers.

Already equipped with a fleet of 4 long-haul aircraft (1 A330F and 3 B777F), CMA CGM AIR CARGO aims to continue its growth with the acquisition of 2 new Boeing B777Fs, which will be added to the fleet, with deliveries scheduled for the end of 2024 and 2025. 8 Airbus A350Fs will complete the fleet in 2026 and 2027, with CMA CGM AIR CARGO being the launch airline for this new aircraft.

MISSION:

As part of its development, CMA CGM Air Cargo is looking for a Ground Operations Standards Manager for its Ground Operations Team.

Reporting to the Ground Operations Director, the Ground Operations Standards Manager is tasked with ensuring the safety and compliance of the ground operations activities.

• Monitor the daily performance of the Ground Service Providers, ensuring the continued delivery of high service standards.
• Create, maintain, and improve ground operations manuals, other documents, and develop procedures.
• Work with internal and external auditors, liaise with auditees, and implement or supervise the effective implementation of corrective and preventive actions for audit and inspection findings.
• Conduct inspections in the operational areas of service providers.
• Identify trends and address areas of improvements in a predictive manner.
• Maintain a close and productive cooperation with the safety, compliance, quality, and operational teams of Ground Service Providers and Airport Operators.
• Oversee application of Service Level Agreements.
• Cooperate with the different departments of CMA CGM Air Cargo to ensure uniform safety management practices.
• Support or lead projects relevant to the ground operations area, as directed.
• Handle Safety Promotion activities.
• Attend internal and external meetings, representing CMA CGM Air Cargo Ground Operations.
• Contribute daily to the continuous improvement of the safety management system.

The duties may include other relevant tasks, according to the trainings and capabilities of the Ground Operations Standards Manager.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

• Minimum 10 years of aviation experience, preferably at a ground handling company or an airline.
• Experience in the aviation safety and compliance area.
• Experience with cargo aircraft and ramp operations.
• Knowledge of ICAO and IATA standards.
• Valid IATA DGR CBTA 7.3 certificate is an advantage.
• Knowledge of de/anti-icing procedures and requirements is an advantage.
• Knowledge of aviation security procedures and requirements is an advantage.
• Auditor experience is an advantage.
• Language: English, advanced level, written & spoken is a must.

CONDITIONS:

• Job based in Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport.
• Executive contract with fixed working days.
• The duties include occasional international travel.
