Our client is the French R&D division of a Swiss pharmaceutical company dedicated to developing novel treatments to combat antimicrobial resistance (AMR).
The company’s mission is to address one of the greatest global health challenges of our times by creating innovative solutions for life-threatening infections caused by multi-drug-resistant (MDR) bacteria.
THE OPPORTUNITY
As part of a dynamic R&D team based in Lille, France, you will play a key role in advancing the company’s drug development programs. This position involves establishing a new in vitro PK / PD platform and supporting both pre-clinical and clinical projects.
Reporting directly to the Head of Translational Science, and collaborating with internal and external multidisciplinary teams, you will :
- Develop the PK / PD laboratory and modeling capabilities.
- Design, plan, and execute experiments.
- Perform PK / PD modeling, analyse experimental data, and synthesise results into actionable insights.
- Stay up to date with the latest scientific and technological advancements to ensure continuous innovation.
YOUR PROFILE
The ideal candidate will have :
- A PhD in microbiology or a related field.
- Expertise in PK / PD concepts.
- Experience in PK / PD modeling and simulation.
- Experience working with pathogens in a BSL-2 setting.
- Proficiency in microbiological assays, including MIC determination, static and dynamic time-kill assays, as well as resistance development and characterization.
- Excellent written and spoken English (French would be an advantage).
