Assistant Store Manager @MAX MARA FLAGSHIP STORE

We are looking for an Assistant Store Manager for our Max Mara Flagship Store in Paris!

The ideal candidate is a dynamic, strongly goal-oriented professional with several years of experience as an Assistant Store Manager within fashion and/or luxury companies, preferably in a structured retail organization.

The Assistant Store Manager will be responsible for maximizing sales in compliance with company standards by guiding, motivating, and supporting the professional growth of the on-floor team. They will ensure that personnel are allocated correctly based on store traffic and commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensuring that the quality and quantity objectives assigned by the Store Manager are achieved.
• Facilitating the professional growth and development of staff in coordination with the Tutor and Department Heads.
• Achieving store productivity targets set by the Store Manager.
• Identifying effective solutions to adjust staff presence on the floor according to customer and market needs.
• Supporting the development of managerial skills among Department Heads.
• Contributing to team motivation in collaboration with the management staff.
• Ensuring that one or more department backups are trained and developed to guarantee role coverage.
• Collaborating with the Store Manager for the effective commercial management of events.
• Supervising the store in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Encouraging participation in on-the-job training through proactive initiatives, teamwork, and digital activities aimed at fostering innovation and improving efficiency and effectiveness in the role.
• Promoting, adopting, and enhancing the use of digital technologies for process management and relationship building with internal and external stakeholders.
• Adopting behaviors and promoting operational and cultural actions linked to Sustainable Development considering the interconnection of practices aimed at environmental care, business process improvement, and community development.

Requirements:

• Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of Italian will be considered a plus.
• Excellent personal presentation and communication skills.
• Teamwork and human resource management skills.
• Results-oriented mindset with a passion for fashion.
• Positive attitude, flexibility with working hours, and a strong talent for customer service.
