Job Description

As the Assistant General Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the General Manager in daily operations, ensuring that our restaurant runs smoothly and efficiently. Your leadership will help us provide excellent service and maintain the high standards our customers expect.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, including staff management, inventory control, and customer service.
2. Support training and development of team members to enhance skills and promote a positive work environment.
3. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
4. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
5. Monitor financial performance, including sales and labor costs, and assist in achieving budget goals.
6. Assist in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new staff members.
7. Foster a positive team culture and motivate employees to perform at their best.

Qualifications

1. Experience in food service or restaurant management is an asset.
2. Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate a team.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
5. Basic financial acumen and understanding of inventory management.
6. Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends.
