We are looking for an Artificial Intelligence Expert (AI/NLP/ML)!

We are seeking a highly skilled Artificial Intelligence Expert specializing in Natural Language Processing (NLP), Machine Learning (ML), and AI-driven solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs) for HR and Document Management applications. This role is part of the Architect Office (AO), which oversees and coordinates technical and business architecture-related activities. The position is remote, based in Europe (far-site).

What Will You Do?

1. Develop and maintain AI-powered software applications in Natural Language Processing (NLP), Machine Learning (ML), and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
2. Design and optimize machine learning systems and deep learning architectures.
3. Integrate AI/ML solutions into existing products and processes in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
4. Architect and implement AI solutions, ensuring compliance with master- and meta-data management principles.
5. Conduct data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation to enhance AI performance.
6. Stay up-to-date with AI/ML advancements, adopting state-of-the-art algorithms and technologies.
7. Manage and maintain AI solutions deployed on SaaS platforms (AWS, Azure).
8. Document architectural blueprints and align business requirements with AI-driven capabilities.

The candidate will report to the Architect Office (AO) and project managers, following SAFe methodology and sprint-based planning.

Requirements:

1. Proven ability to develop Large Language Models (LLMs), text embeddings, tokenization, and vectorization.
2. Strong expertise in Machine Learning (ML) and Deep Learning architectures.
3. Hands-on experience with Python, Java, Containers (Docker/Kubernetes), and Cloud AI services (AWS, Azure).
4. Deep understanding of NLP systems lifecycle and agile software development methodologies.
5. Knowledge of quality assurance and control for machine translation (MT), including testing methodologies and evaluation metrics (BLEU scores and similar).
6. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and technical writing skills.
7. Ability to conduct proof of concepts (PoC) efficiently and effectively.
8. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications & Certifications:

1. AWS Certified Machine Learning / Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate.
2. AWS Certified Data Analytics / Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Scientist Associate.
3. AWS Certified Solutions Architect / Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
