The Opportunity

To support this next phase of growth, Emas Pharma is expanding its Business Development team in Europe. We are looking for a dynamic and entrepreneurial Business Development Director to play a key role in driving commercial success.

This is a unique opportunity to join a high-growth CRO in its early stages, working closely with senior leadership to shape the company’s future.

Key Responsibilities

1. Drive new business opportunities and expand Emas Pharma’s client portfolio across Europe.
2. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to grow market presence in oncology, rare disease, and other key therapeutic areas.
3. Build and nurture strong relationships with biotech, pharma, and other industry stakeholders.
4. Collaborate closely with the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and EVP Commercial to align business development efforts with the company’s strategic goals.
5. Represent Emas Pharma at industry events, conferences, and client meetings, positioning the company as a leader in specialized clinical research services.
6. Play an active role in the company’s rebranding efforts, ensuring commercial strategy aligns with the new positioning and market perception.

Who We’re Looking For

We are seeking an ambitious, results-driven professional with :

1. Proven experience in business development within the CRO, biotech, or pharma industry.
2. A hunter mentality with a track record of securing new business and expanding client relationships.
3. Knowledge of clinical development in oncology and / or rare diseases (preferred but not essential).
4. A strong network within the life sciences sector and the ability to engage with decision-makers.
5. An entrepreneurial mindset, eager to be part of a growing organization and contribute to its strategic vision.
