About the opportunity we offer:

Working in a multicultural and multilingual environment, within the Internal Control Department, which comprises a team of Business and IT Controllers, the apprentice will oversee and contribute to the implementation and running of the Internal Control program over financial and sustainability reporting of Technip Energies related to IT processes and controls.

Responsibilities:
  • Describing and updating control narratives.
  • Analyze and check the compliance of existing controls with the reference framework.
  • Support the IT internal control assessment process performed in liaise with the IT Applications and Process Owners.
  • Carrying out and formalizing effectiveness tests on existing controls.
  • Propose improvement for automated testing.
  • Contribute to specific ad-hoc missions that may happen throughout the year.
  • Identify any compliance deviations and corrective action plans to be implemented.
  • Monitor the progress of these action plans with the parties concerned.
  • Prepare progress reports on internal control activities.
  • Use and update the Internal Control reporting tool (Bwise) on risks and controls, narratives, test sheets and control evidence, declaration of progress and results, etc.


These activities require close and permanent coordination with various departments, other members of the Internal Control team, Application and Processes Owners, and Experts.

This function provides a fantastic opportunity for a successful and highly motivated candidate.

You will quickly need to gain a clear understanding of the business and IT processes within Technip Energies, establish credibility, authority and a good working relationship with your line Manager and the wider organization.

Starting Date: September 2025

What we expect from you:
  • Ongoing - masters degree in engineering, Finance, or in Business Management, or in IT domain or in Information Management System.
  • IT Audit and internal control knowledge.
  • You have good organizational skills; you are inquisitive and open to feedback.
  • You learn quickly, pick up new techniques and principles and implement them appropriately.
  • You are rigorous and have good interpersonal skills, enabling you to work as part of a team.
  • You are highly motivated and self-starter, enthusiastic and energetic.
  • You are fluent in English (oral and written communication).
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).


Nice to have:
  • Excellent communication skills in a multicultural and technical environment.
  • Initial experience in IT processes and standards (ex. ITIL, Cobit, COSO).
  • Knowledge in Cybersecurity, Governance-Risk-Compliance (GRC).
