We are looking for our next Internal Financial Controller apprentice as of September 2025 and for 12 months at our AXA Headquarters!

Within AXA SA Risk Management, you will join the Operational Risk & Internal Control team as Internal Financial Controller.
What You’ll Do
- Contribute to 2nd line control activities collaborating with Operational Risk & Internal Controllers to provide independent opinions on the design and operating effectiveness of controls:
- on a selection of key activities and processes to be covered in 2025-2026 Internal Control Plan (e.g., Finance, Reinsurance, Technology…)
- on AXA SA Internal Model Validation for its Solvency II capital requirements reporting to the Group for FY25
- for AXA SA Sustainability reporting in the context of CSRD directive for FY25
- Monitor performance and reporting of key controls by 1st line managers to ensure timeliness per Group deadlines
- Participate in workshops with control and business functions to review controls and monitor the risk mitigating action plans
- Support and contribute to Operational Risk reviews through workshops with first lines
Who You Are
- Master's degree (BAC+5) in Business Administration, specializing in Finance / Risk Management / Audit & Control
- Experience in risk management / internal control, ideally in the insurance sector; knowledge in (re)insurance business and Solvency II regulation and practices is a plus
- Fluent in French, proficient in English (C1 at least both in writing and speaking)
- Proven high reliability, quality, and timeliness of deliverables
- Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team
- Proficient writing and communication skills (delivery of presentations, documentation)
