MISSIONS

UNDER THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE MAIN WORKS SUPERVISOR / WORKS DIRECTOR:

1. Become familiar with - and proficient in - your cases/contracts
2. Prepare your operation(s)
3. Define your needs, the survey elements, the method and resources in terms of labor and materials
4. Manage orders
5. Carry out the construction survey (budget)
6. Consult the sub-contractors for your operation, establish comparative statements and take part in appointing sub-contractors
7. Steer the development of the works under your responsibility in cooperation with the site supervisor and monitor the progress of the works (progress schedules, report on necessary additional expenses and products, track and correct budgets, invoicing and payments)
8. Verify the implementation and report on the plan for improving the productivity of your operation(s) (follow-up of the labor assessment, drafting of roadmaps, debriefing of site supervisors/team leaders, definition of the schedule in person-days, etc.) and suggest corrective solutions if necessary
9. Conduct the negotiations in order to propose selected secondary building trades
10. Anticipate, coordinate and monitor the activities of the secondary building trades by taking into account the interfaces with the structural work team
11. Manage client relations by focusing on the client’s satisfaction (quality, lead times, operations prior to reception, resolution of derivations, and reception, etc.) and by adhering to the principles of contract management
12. Lead and coordinate your teams
13. Participate in the skills development of your colleagues
14. Conduct annual appraisal interviews
15. Check competencies and control skills
16. Signal any breach and suggest any appropriate sanction
17. Establish, update and distribute the specific health and safety protection/prevention plan
18. Review, propose and verify the technical and human measures
19. Establish the DICT (declaration of the intention to begin work) and make sure the neutralization certificates are obtained
20. Establish and implement the temporary logistics facilities plans
21. Provide for the building site work and protective equipment, make sure it is compliant and ensure its maintenance and verification.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

REQUIRED LEVEL OF EDUCATION:
5 years’ higher education, Master II or Master’s in Engineering

TRAINING SUBJECTS:
Civil engineering - Public works

REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
Recent graduates, or persons with at least 5 years’ experience supervising work under the “ETAM” classification

JOB ENVIRONMENT

INTERNAL:
Cost studies offices/structures/methods - Accounting - SQE - Logistics - HR - Customer service

EXTERNAL:
Client - Architect - Engineering Office (BET) - Works and Studies Coordinator - Supervising office - External social organizations (CARSAT, work inspectorate, etc.) - Dealership services - Municipal technical services

VOTRE PROFIL

Vous êtes titulaire d'un Bac +2/3 et vous souhaitez intégrer une école d'ingénieur par le biais de l’alternance. Vous souhaitez vous former à un métier d'ingénieur du Bâtiment et des Travaux Publics Vos stages et expériences professionnelles vous ont permis de côtoyer les entreprises de Travaux Publics.

Organisé(e), vous cultivez le goût du terrain et démontrer une bonne capacité à travailler en équipe.
