Take on the functional leadership of the FRIB (France, Spain & Portugal) trade marketing team, craft a vision and implement a roadmap towards the current & future trade landscape and the LEGO Group’s presence in the Business Unit.
Develop and roll out excellent and engaging lower funnel LEGO experiences, permanent store presence and drive period (DPCs) as well as occasional campaigns across all purchasing channels and touchpoints in an integrated way!
Core Responsibilities
- Shape and implement LEGO marketing campaigns from toolbox executions to creativity in localization working alongside Market and channel Trade Marketing and Brand Management teams, Sales, e-Com, retail partners, agencies and logistics partners / warehouse.
- Lead Shop in Shop deployment, align on the strategy with sales directors and monitor the performance.
- Activate local shopper occasion campaigns with success along the areas of in store, merchandising, omnichannel, retailer events & digital, etc.
- Manage, track & optimize deployment of omnichannel trade marketing activities and establish reporting system for all activities to develop recommendations for marketing and sales teams.
- Align plan and develop the trade marketing strategy with Sales directors, RCD partners and all senior level business partners.
- Drive alignments across trade marketing tools where possible and adapt and gap fill trade material opportunities where needed.
- Partner closely with offline, eCommerce and digital marketing teams on omnichannel full funnel shopper and LEGO experience journey, leading towards a well-rounded plan within the annual ICP process.
- Work with brand teams to enable visible, impactful & engaging experiences for all audiences.
- Lead partner agencies activities and other vendor, achieving positive relationships as well as high quality, service levels and performance.
- Secure excellence in execution at POS whilst ensuring ‘safety first approach’ for LEGO builds being implemented.
- Budget responsibility for BTL trade marketing & agency partner activities, striving for efficiency and smart investment in an omnichannel trade landscape.
Leadership
- Lead and manage a talented 8 expert team, based in Paris and Madrid, setting targets, challenging plans and having a strong feedback culture. Participate in the People Forum of the Business unit gathering all team managers.
- Actively develop this team and support all individuals on their growth, learning and development journey, creating a culture of trust, caring and collaboration.

The role will be a key part of the Market and Channel Trade Marketing Forum and report to the Senior Director Marketing FRIB.
Do you have what it takes?
- Strong experience in a Sales, Trade, Shopper Marketing or Brand leader role.
- Understanding about off / online sales channel dynamics in Business unit geographies.
- Consistent track record of leading and developing a successful team (direct and remote management). Be an influential member of a management team.
- Clear understanding of the omnichannel agenda and dynamics to develop the brand experience in-store and on digital commerce.
- Know how to translate consumer expectations into concrete execution plans.
- Proficient communicator. Highly effective in building strong internal networks and able to work with a wide range of collaborators.
- Always seek for opportunities to do better and to develop new ways of working.
- Strong result, motivation and resilience orientation. Data-driven approach, always looking for performance optimization.
- Energetic, passionate and autonomous – entrepreneurial mentality.
- Proficiency in French and English (written and oral) is essential. Spanish is an asset but not essential.
