As part of Groupe BPCE, the second largest banking group in France through the Banque Populaire and Caisse d’Epargne retail networks, Natixis CIB benefits from the Group’s financial strength and solid financial ratings (Standard & Poor's: A+, Moody's: A1, Fitch Ratings: A+, R&I: A+).

Job Description

You join the Recovery & Resolution team, which is in charge of coordinating the implementation of the devices that would be activated in the CIB (Corporate and Investment Banking) and AWM (Asset and Wealth Management) business lines in the event of a major liquidity or solvency crisis (lease-in of Liabilities, reduction or separation of certain activities, restructuring of entities, etc.).

These systems meet the requirements set by the European regulator (European Banking Authority, EBA) and supervised by the Single Supervisory Mechanism (SSM) and the Single Resolution Board (SRB). They are consistent with the processes planned by Groupe BPCE.

As an analyst, you are responsible for coordinating the work of different teams that contribute to the implementation of some of these measures: Legal, Finance, Risks, front office, middle office, back office, IT, in France and internationally, as well as the production of deliverables expected by the Group and supervisors.

On a daily basis, your duties are to:

  • Coordinate GFS’s contribution to the work of the BPCE group (within the scope of CIB and AWM) on these themes in relation with the European Supervisory Authority (ECB and SRB) and the Resilience Directorate of BPCE, and participate in the management and monitoring of projects on the sites assigned to you;
  • Contribute to the drafting of documents (contingency plans, playbooks, etc.) describing the modalities for operational implementation of these requirements;
  • Collect the information necessary to build certain reports and prepare analyses on various topics involving business and regulatory knowledge;
  • Organize testing exercises of resolution devices, including the lease-in option, by teaching technical topics (test environments, etc.) and by animating a community of contributors from operations (back office), accounting, standards, IT department, and front offices;
  • Contribute to the governance of projects within GFS and BPCE (project committees, steering committees, exchanges and presentations with supervisors).

You work in an international environment, on all the activities of the CIB and AWM business lines in terms of bank recovery and resolution, within a community of experts that places excellence, impact and collective action at the heart of everything it does.
