Alstom employs approximately 1,200 employees at the Valenciennes Petite Forêt site, primarily in the design and manufacturing of railway rolling stock. The site also manages its projects and offers, and has a department specifically handling after-sales services. The site primarily provides metro and regional trains of two levels.

As part of the resumption of production of the MP14 Pneumatic Metro trains, we are recruiting an apprentice for a period of 24 months to support project teams in monitoring production activities and the commercial commissioning of these trains.

Context:

• Restart of production of MP14 pneumatic metro cars after a year of stoppage in a new production hall, mixed with another project.
• The MP14 pneumatic metro vehicles are intended for the Parisian client RATP. The first batch of 891 cars has already been delivered to the client.

Main Activities / Tasks:

• Industrial: Support industrial teams in setting up a new production line.
• Quality: Assist Quality teams in updating the quality reference and ensure the integration of feedback from the last production batch into the industrial documentation.
• Configuration Management: Support study teams to ensure the integration of the latest modifications into the study and industrial documentation reference.
• Industrial Process Validation: Participate in the first assembly reviews of the equipment in the MP14 vehicles in the new production line. Facilitate the open points table during the first assembly reviews by following up with various stakeholders and establish relevant indicators.
• Quality: Assist Project Quality teams in managing open points during quality inspections at suppliers before delivery and establish relevant indicators.
• Commissioning: Work with engineering and after-sales teams on action plans for reliability growth.
• After-sales: Work closely with after-sales teams for investigations to be conducted.
• After-sales: Manage coordination of workshop reports written by the client.
• After-sales: Establish management indicators and ensure their follow-up.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in computer tools, particularly in data processing (Excel, Access, SAP).
• Good analytical capacity, dynamic character, and a “Positive attitude,” excellent team worker.
• English mandatory.

Profile Sought:
