I. Background
The work of the section of Global Citizenship and Peace Education focuses on improving the relevance of education systems and addressing global challenges to peace, justice, human rights and democracy through education, with an approach that is holistic, gender-transformative, culturally sensitive, and human rights-based, central to fostering creative and sustainable societies.
II. Duties and Requirements
Under the authority of the Chief of Section of Global Citizenship and Peace Education (GCP) and the direct supervision of the Programme Specialist, focal point for hate speech, the contract-holder will contribute to the development and coordination of the Sector’s activities relating to global citizenship education, and more particularly on issues related to addressing antisemitism and racism through education. This includes :
