Barilla is looking for a Brand PR Senior Manager.
As the Senior Brand PR Manager, you will play a pivotal role in building and enhancing the equity (reputation) of Barilla Group brands. Your primary focus will be on developing and implementing effective Brand PR and Influencer Marketing strategies – in line with global and local guidelines - in Western Europe (focus on France).
Key Accountabilities :
Brand PR :
- Create strong and efficient local PR & Influencer marketing initiatives based on global toolkits and annual PR agenda in close collaboration with multiple internal stakeholders (Marketing, Category, Social & Digital, Corporate Communications, etc.)
- Source and pitch regional PR-first or PR-only campaigns born from insight & trends
- Implement press and influencer initiatives in the assigned Region for our brands
- Measure KPIs and frameworks for all PR activities, track & report on relative success / areas of improvements
- Build and maintain a network of local PR agencies to support plan execution
- Manage the relationship and deliverables of PR agencies
- Be the point of reference for long term Barilla Brand related communication towards press and media in assigned Region
- Support the external communication to key stakeholders (opinion leaders and partners, consumer and lifestyle press, customers and consumers) to build, promote and defend the reputation of our Barilla brands
- Execute key brands’ events and initiatives defining contents, key topics and messages, speakers / participants scouting and engagement, rules, format
- Support the assigned markets in developing and driving specific local events on for relevant brands in scope.
Media Relations :
- Implement relationships with the media aligned with media relations policies, ensuring their alignment with the objectives and strategies defined by the Unit’s Director
- Contribute to managing the relations with national media on topics that impact directly on the reputation of our products or brands.
- Manage the relationship with the network of PR agencies to guarantee the consistency of outgoing messages, reflecting the nature of different local situations and in line with the guidelines relating to the approach towards the outside world shared with the unit’s head and Chief Officer
- Collaborate with Group Communication and External Relation team to spread key Group messages and mitigate potential issues
- Collaborate with the media team in order to implement / develop synergies when approaching the Media Partners with reference to the assigned areas
Requirements :
- Min experience (years) : min 5+ years of Brand PR experience
- Field of Studies : Communication, Media, Marketing, Journalism
- Communication skills, presentation and public speaking
- Stakeholder management; Strategic Thinking
- Detail-oriented manager who can delegate effectively to empower teams
- Creative thinker with the ability to identify opportunities and generate 'out-of-the-box' ideas
- Skilled in understanding different cultures in key markets, leading to successful global PR strategies
