About the Role
The primary responsibility of the Senior Inventor & Vault Implementation and Deployment Architect and Team Manager is to provide and maintain the applications required by the 600+ SPX FLOW Engineers to plan and control engineering-related data and content. This requires the management and development of the dedicated team of technical experts involved in the development, maintenance and management of those applications. The spectrum of this “hands-on” role spans from design and content management through to the integration & synchronization of data in associated ERP Systems, with equal focus on Parts, Products, Service & Systems business streams.
Responsibilities
- Management and supervision of internal and external technical specialist teams.
- Supervision of System and Process Changes.
- Lead business process and business systems integration projects.
- Provide business systems expertise to senior management.
Qualifications
- Experience communicating with global business users and other functional stakeholders regarding business operations and process improvement initiatives.
- Demonstrated strong written and oral communication skills.
- Experience collaborating with multi-person, international virtual teams.
- Self-directed, detail-oriented, have excellent initiative and possess strong analytical skills.
- Strong personal motivation, excellent work ethic and positive, team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to handle multiple demands with a sense of urgency, drive and energy.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of expertise in very specifically implementing and architecting Inventor & Vault implementations within the platform, specifying, configuring, deploying and supporting Inventor & Vault.
- Minimum 5 years’ demonstrable supervision or management experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Business, IT, Engineering or related field.
- Proficient in MS Office (particularly MS Excel).
- Knowledge of SAP ECC6 is not required but preferable.
- Manufacturing industry experience OR Engineering industry experience, preferably in a management capacity.
- Experience in the implementation & support of additional 2D & 3D CAD solutions.
