Rolls-Royce Solutions France (formerly MTU France) is part of Rolls-Royce Power Systems AG, a technological leader in the manufacture of engines, propulsion systems and power distribution systems, owned by Rolls-Royce. The activities in France include the diesel, gas and hydrogen engines, the propulsion and electrical generation systems, as well as battery storage solutions. We ensure the distribution of Rolls Royce solutions in France and Africa. Customer satisfaction is our driving force and we are currently recruiting for our Service Engineering department to strengthen our team, to continue to satisfy our customers!
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide competent technical support to Rolls-Royce Solutions France clients in France and Francophone Africa for preventive and corrective maintenance (warranty or non-warranty) of engines and Customer systems, ensuring the highest availability of their equipment and their satisfaction.
SCOPE OF THE ACTIVITIES
• Assisted by 2 collaborators, you ensure the operational and functional supervision of a team of 15 to 20 technicians, mechanics, and electronic technicians.
• You are responsible for the smooth progress of technical interventions on customer sites and in workshops: assessing needs, monitoring interventions, technical analysis, work reports.
• You organize and supervise within your department the deployment of new processes, tools, and any necessary evolutions.
• You act as the interface with the Group for the monitoring and management of certain after-sales service (SAV) files.
• In constant interface with SAV business managers, you define and adapt your team's schedule in real-time according to customer priorities and emergencies. You ensure compliance with processes and propose necessary organizational and procedural changes.
• You provide appropriate organization and management solutions to maximize the efficiency of technical interventions.
• You drive and monitor service indicators and propose improvement actions.
• You act as the HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) guarantor for your scope (Aftersales interventions at our clients' sites and in the workshop) and responsible for HSE activities within your team.
• You define tooling and resource needs within the allocated budget and supervise operating expenses.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• Engineer with mechanical/engine component and 5 years of experience, or bachelor's degree with 7 to 10 years of experience in a similar field.
• Knowledge of diesel engines and the industrial sector (generators, rail).
• Proficiency in professional English reading, writing, and speaking (minimum B2 level - daily use).
SKILLS
To succeed in this position, the ideal candidate must possess the following qualities:
• Interpersonal skills for exchanges with clients, the factory, suppliers.
• Writing skills and excellent proficiency in standard computer tools (knowledge of ERP software such as SAP is a plus).
• Strong adaptability, teamwork, autonomy, initiative, and synthesis skills are expected for this position.
• Priority management
• Ability to rally teams
OTHER
• Travel within France and African countries which belong to our area of responsibility
• Work permit for France is required
