Our mission is to provide safe, clean, and efficient heat, applying state-of-the-art burner control systems with enhanced automation, including remote monitoring and self-learning technology. Our new generation burners are capable of firing hydrogen and other renewable fuels, as well as hybrid solutions hydrogen fired-electric heated.

In our premises in Vilvoorde-Belgium, we engineer, build, and test the customized heating solutions for the entire EMEA region. In our Application lab, we develop and test future solutions for the fast-changing market, with a special focus on our sustainable technology.

Within the Vilvoorde engineering and production site of HTS, we are looking for an Application Engineer Hybrid Solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Understand the hybrid heating needs of our customers and support the business to develop creative solutions that fit the application.
• Engineer the hybrid solution with a focus on electric-gas hybrid systems, which include thermal calculations, sizing of the equipment, successful completion of projects within budget and scope, testing of the solutions in our lab, and provide support in the field during commissioning.
• Guide and coordinate a team of application engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Work with cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategies for business growth.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance in solving complex engineering problems.
• Ensure the successful completion of projects within budget and scope.
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation in application engineering.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in application engineering or a similar role.
• Excellent guidance and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks.
